And another semester comes to an end. It took me long enough, but that animation major is actually paying off a bit. I just recently finished my final project for the course, Groceries, which is a short animated film loosely based off a scene from Marceline the Tutor, which was a modestly successful fanfiction I wrote a little while back. You can see it here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=YcSsfj… OR by clicking on my "submission" and getting the link there. Anyway, I became a part time student in September, and as such approached my work in a new way. Rather than leaving everything to the last moment (as was the norm), I did a little bit each day and didn't kill myself until near the end. And I was proud when finals came around because this time I had actually worked competently, like a 3rd year college student should. Unfortunately I was also working, so I couldn't find too much time to write.
I do intend to continue on with my 'Tales From Ooo" series of short stories, as well as more animation stuff eventually (although I'm thinking I'm gonna put up some old modeling stuff that I'd never gotten around to submitting) and various other writing projects. So you guys can look forward to seeing new material of SOME sort in January, but for now, I'm mainly looking forward to enjoying the holiday with my family.
Merry Christmas everyone, and Happy New Year.

Much like that Modest Mouse album that is taking a long time to make, or the new Tool one that may never come out, the Flame Princess fic is coming someday. Hopefully.
In the meantime though, check out this student project I worked on this past semester! I'm pretty proud of it, even though I had a lot of help from my teacher.

It's March!
So, while I'm working on my Flame Princess centered fic (and I am working on it, trust me, I just have a lot of other things on my plate with school and work and all that), here's some new (and old) stuff to tide you over hopefully, unless you only follow this page for the stories, in which case, I've done all I can do. D:
So yeah, have some old 3D character models that I never shared, and some much more recent photographs that I've been taking in my photography class. We just got done with the black and white project, so, enjoy. I'm gonna try--if possible--to have new content of SOME kind every month, since I honestly don't know when this l
Top 10 Cartoons of 2013
So this is based on a more ambitious idea I originally had with a whole bunch more categories and presented in a much more prestigious way, but I think it still gets the message across. Basically I'm not all that fond of blind nostalgia and living in the past, so this is partially to make a statement of sorts (I guess), but also due to my obsessive compulsive need to make lists.
In order to qualify, the show needed to premiere in 2013, have more than one episode, and air on TV somewhere in the world. That also means I don't differentiate between western and eastern animation. So, here are my picks:
1. Out There
2. Sanjay and Craig
3. Wand
